  • 2 cups angel food cake, cut into bite-sized pieces

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oil in a deep fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a saucepan, combine water, butter, sugar, and salt over medium heat until melted.
  3. Stir in flour and mix until a smooth dough forms, then remove from heat.
  4. Add vanilla and mix well.
  5. Carefully fold in the angel food cake pieces.
  6. Scoop tablespoons of the mixture and fry until golden brown.
  7. Remove and coat with cinnamon sugar while warm.
  8. Serve immediately for the best flavor.
