Dhaba Style Egg Curry

A delicious and easy recipe for making classic Dhaba style egg curry at home.

  • 6 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, pureed
  • 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • salt to taste
  • 1/4 cup fresh coriander leaves, chopped

Instructions

  1. Boil the eggs, peel and set aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and fry until they splutter.
  3. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  4. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for 1 minute.
  5. Add pureed tomatoes, spices, and sauté until oil separates.
  6. Add boiled eggs and gently mix to coat with the masala.
  7. Garnish with fresh coriander before serving.
