Earthquake Cake Recipe

A deliciously decadent dessert that combines chocolate cake, cream cheese, and nuts for an unforgettable treat!

  • 1 package chocolate cake mix
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the chocolate cake mix, water, oil, and eggs until combined.
  4. Pour the cake batter into the prepared dish.
  5. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the cake batter and swirl gently.
  7. Sprinkle the chopped walnuts and shredded coconut on top.
  8. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Allow to cool before serving.
