Gordon Ramsay Spaghetti Sauce

Delicious and easy to make, Gordon Ramsay’s spaghetti sauce features turkey bacon for a delightful twist.

Ingredients

  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and crumble.
  2. In the same skillet, add olive oil and sauté onion until translucent.
  3. Add garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  4. Stir in crushed tomatoes, oregano, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes; simmer for 15 minutes.
  5. Mix in crumbled bacon and basil just before serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use pancetta instead of turkey bacon.
  • Serve with freshly grated Parmesan cheese on top.
