Healthy Breakfast Oatmeal Apple Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup chopped apples
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the oats, baking powder, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, combine the applesauce, honey, almond milk, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix well.
  5. Fold in the chopped apples.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and bake for 30-35 minutes.
  7. Let cool before serving.
