Ina Garten Breakfast Casserole

A delicious and hearty breakfast casserole featuring turkey bacon and chicken ham.

Ingredients

  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 8 ounces chicken ham
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 4 cups cubed bread
  • 1 cup shredded cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then crumble it.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and thyme.
  4. Add the cubed bread, cheese, and crumbled bacon to the egg mixture, mixing well.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and bake for 40-45 minutes until set.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian version, omit the bacon and ham.
