Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/2 cup cooked turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chicken ham, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together egg, milk, and melted butter.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  4. Fold in the chopped turkey bacon and chicken ham.
  5. Preheat a skillet and pour in batter to form small pancakes.
  6. Cook until bubbles form, then flip and cook until golden brown.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add herbs or spices to the batter.
  • Can substitute bacon with any preferred meat or leave it out for a vegetarian version.
