Potato and Sausage Chowder

Ingredients

  • 2 cups diced potatoes
  • 1 pound sausage
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the sausage over medium heat.
  2. Add onions and garlic, cooking until softened.
  3. Stir in potatoes and chicken broth, bringing to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and thyme, and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Serve hot.

Notes
