Pumpkin With Feta & Honey

A delicious blend of pumpkin, feta, and honey creating a perfect autumn dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium pumpkin
  • 200 grams feta cheese
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Cut the pumpkin in half and remove the seeds.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the pumpkin and season with salt and black pepper.
  4. Place the pumpkin halves on a baking sheet and roast in the oven for 45 minutes.
  5. Once the pumpkin is tender, remove from the oven and let it cool slightly.
  6. Scoop out the flesh and combine it with crumbled feta and honey in a bowl.
  7. Mix well and spoon the mixture back into the pumpkin halves.
  8. Return to the oven for 10 minutes to warm through.
  9. Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add a pinch of chili flakes to the filling.
  • Experiment with different types of cheese based on your preference.
