  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 sheets puff pastry
  • 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the chopped onion until golden brown.
  3. In a bowl, mix the sautéed onion, sausage meat, and garlic powder until combined.
  4. Roll out the puff pastry and cut into rectangles.
  5. Place a spoonful of the sausage mixture on one side of each rectangle.
  6. Fold the pastry over and seal the edges with a fork.
  7. Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
  8. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
