Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. Add the cold cubed butter and mix until it resembles coarse crumbs.

  5. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients until just mixed.
  6. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and shape it into a round disk about 1 inch thick.
